DETAIL DESIGN

v      To collaborate throughout this stage with other members of the team to ensure that designs of Engineering Services are developed in manner compatible with the MEP main sources, where prepared in the main building (Hotel Tower).

v      To agree with the Employer/Project Manager and other consultants the scope of specification and design drawings with particular reference to the demarcation of each sub-contract.

v      To advise the Employer/Project Manager as to the conditions of contract and prepare mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings etc to be incorporated in all contracts and such warranties as may be required other to be made between the Employer and the contractor, or between the contractor and sub-contractor for the Project.

v      To provide builder work information to other consultants based upon design drawings for the Project.

v      To prepare coordinated general arrangement service drawings, performance specification, together with such other details as may be required for work to be executed by nominated specialists or direct sub-contractors responsible for the installation of specialists’ plant and equipment.

v      To design the works and selecting materials and components to have due regard to economy and value for money as regards both initial and current costs, but within the general standard of quality established for the project.
