CONCEPT AND DESIGN STAGE

.

v      To collect available data for information relating to the project and which are relevant to the works, and collaborating with other consultants.

v      To advise on the need of special surveys, investigations, tests or feasibility studies supervise same, analyze and prepare reports and recommendation as required.

v      To study all necessary MEP engineering drawings and calculations (done by previous MEP Consultants), to meet statutory codes and requirements and submit same to relevant departments for approval, etc. 

v      To study preliminary schematic details/specifications of alternative MEP systems (done by previous MEP Consultants) and recommend to the employer/Project Manager, the optimum details/specification based on cost effectiveness, particularly in construction, etc. Liaise with Architect and other consultants on the architectural and structural constrains and all requirements.

v      To participate the preparation of an outline program for design and construction taking account of the proposed contract procedures.

v      To attend all meetings conducted by the Architect/Project Manager concerning the project.
